This is a translation; in case of differences the Dutch version prevails.
TestWisely processes personal data of students and teachers exclusively on behalf of the school, as laid down in the general terms and conditions (article 11) and the data processing agreement (based on the Edu-V Model Data Processing Agreement). Below is the current list of parties and infrastructure that we engage for this purpose. Our principle: all processing within the EU, on our own infrastructure as much as possible.
| Party | Purpose | Location of processing | Safeguards |
|---|---|---|---|
| Snel.com B.V. | Hosting of the platform and the database (complete application and data storage) | Rotterdam, the Netherlands (EU) | Processing within the EU; data processing arrangements |
| TransIP B.V. | Domain registration, DNS and business email | Amsterdam, the Netherlands (EU) | Processing within the EU; data processing arrangements |
| TestWisely AI (own infrastructure) | Generating test questions and provisionally marking open questions — our own AI model, developed specifically for creating and marking test questions | Amsterdam, the Netherlands (EU, self-managed) | No external party: processing on self-managed infrastructure, data does not leave the EU |
TestWisely AI runs on self-managed infrastructure within the EU and is being rolled out. During this transition phase, an external AI processor may temporarily still be engaged for the AI features (marking and question generation); it will be fully replaced by TestWisely AI before the 2026/2027 school year. Schools with a data processing agreement can find the complete, current list of parties in its annex and are informed in advance of every change.
We announce changes to this list at least thirty (30) days in advance to the schools with which we have an agreement. Schools have the right to lodge a reasoned objection within that period (see article 11.4 of the general terms and conditions).
