TestWisely is a digital assessment platform that lets teachers easily create tests, administer them on iPad, laptop or computer, and have them marked automatically with the help of AI. The platform is designed specifically for Dutch education.
TestWisely works with a licence per school. The price consists of a fixed fee per school per year and an amount per student per year. There is no free version. Request a quote for the price for your school.
Teachers use the platform in any modern browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge). Students take tests in the TestWisely app on the iPad (from the App Store), in the secure TestWisely browser on Windows, or in the browser. At the school's request, tests on the iPad can be restricted to the app.
Our AI analyses open answers based on the answer model provided by the teacher. The teacher always keeps the final assessment and can easily adjust scores.
TestWisely processes data on behalf of the school, in accordance with the GDPR (in Dutch: AVG). Every school concludes a data processing agreement with us. The data is stored in the Netherlands. For marking, answers are not sent to an external AI service. Students and teachers can log in via Kennisnet Entree, with their school account. Multiple choice, true/false, open questions, fill-in-the-blank, matching, ordering and categorising. Depending on the subject, more question types are available, such as number and graph questions for mathematics and text selection for languages. Open questions can be marked automatically by the AI marking assistant.
On the iPad, students take the test in the TestWisely app, which locks the iPad using Apple's assessment mode. On Windows there is the secure TestWisely browser. In the Live Monitor you see during the test who is working and who leaves the test. This is also recorded, so you can review it afterwards.
Yes, you can import tests by uploading a PDF or Word file. The system automatically recognises question types and structures them for you. You can also reuse questions from the question bank.
